I was born/raised outside of OAKLAND, ca in the small city of Dublin.  There I was about half popular and TOTALLY over involved in school. I graduated. Went to school at BYU, dated, enjoyed, grew & graduated. I studied lots of things. Loved Social work and have worked in a myriad of jobs in social services before settling down in my career.

The older I got the more out of place I felt in Utah. In Provo your dating eligibility expires at about age 25. So I was prepared to live my life as a single lady: traveling the world, volunteering, being the cool aunt.

I once left on an adventure to Ethiopia that was supposed to 9months-1 year.

Then I fell in love.got married. And Ethiopia will be a part of my life forever.

So here I find myself:

Attempting to help Navigating the immigration process.

being in a couple.

Attempting self domestification*.

& laughing at [myself/my mistakes]

We plan to one day return to Ethiopia.

To have children.

To adopt children.

The change the world.

To give back.

&to have some adventures along the way.

We now live in Utah where I work for Nu Skin enterprises. I am the manager of the Distributor Support for the Americas region. My job is a LOT of fun! I feel really lucky to LOVE my job.
