I
am Adam. I grew up in Ethiopia, and now live in the US.
When
living in Ethiopia I was trained as a lawyer and worked in the legal field. Now
in the states I own a business with my brothers in law. I enjoy being a
businessman and being challenged continually by our business.
I
love watching soccer and basketball, going to the movies, running and trying
new food. I like to share my Ethiopian heritage, culture, food and music with
people interested in learning more about where I am from.
My
entire family lives in Ethiopia and I have been lucky to return each year to
visit them. I am able to talk to my mom and siblings all the time on the phone
and through skype. Technology keeps me connected to my family and friends back
home. I still miss the food and smell of home, and look forward to going back
for Ethiopian New Year next September.
I am lucky to be married to my best friend. We have a lot of fun being silly in the house and laughing with each other.
I have a goal to see all of the US States and I am planning a cross country trip we hope to take in 2014.
