Can you tell that ADAM loves opening my door?

+ you get to meet totally weird people you would never talk to
+ its delicious
+ you feel fancy for not that much money!
- I ate all my noodles before my steak was done
- Our chef had a funny name, and he wasn't Japanese.

#NSLS

WE SURVIVED!!!!

One the [best/hardest/most rewarding/tiring] part of my job is working events. They are SOOOOOOO fun and sooooooo stressful and require a lot of planning. The US Events team does a great job of making sure that there is enough entertainment for the distributors and employees to balance it all out.

In June we have a couple thousand people head to Provo to attend a leadership training event. IT was a BLAST! My team was in charge of maning registration, corporate headquarter tours and the retail store. Somehow with the dedication of everyone we made it through.

& the street party was awesome, as you can tell by my amazing snow cone!
YUM!

another Pinterest Fail?

I think NOT!
Do you Pinterest?
I do... SEE me and all my amazing domestic dreams HERE

One of the things I HATE about Pinterest, people feel creative without having to do anything. As if just the mere act of "pinning" something makes them a DIY genius. So I am choosy on what I pin, because I like to actually make them. And who wants to be CONSTANTLY dissapointed, simply because there are too many things on there, that are a BIG FAT FAIL!

I have made several of them myself.
So this time around with my lil sister and her friend we attempted what I like to call a "low stress craft"
And it was!

this PIN worked our PERFECTLY!

Tenesh ena qelale {Small & Simple}

It’s the little things that really matter in my marriage. When I was younger and naïve I expected sweeping gestures of romance to fill every waking moment of life. I imagine this deluded idea came from all those princess movies I watched as a child. Those films lead way to the romantic comedy which taught me that without drama and amazing feats of reconciliation that my relationships were not whole.

Then I got married.
And reality set in.
& I matured.

Though Adam attempts from time to time those sweeping gestures we see in movies, that is not how I know he loves me.

I know by the little things.

That he takes my car to be serviced and have the tires changed.
He brings ice water with a straw to bed at night.
He calls me during the day to say he misses me.
He thanks me when I cook, or clean, or pack him a lunch to take to work.
He is supportive of my dreams: even the farfetched ones.
He is kind to my nieces.
He makes me laugh.

It’s the culmination of all these little things that make me feel deeply LOVED and appreciated.

& I am grateful for a husband who isn’t afraid to love me whole heartedly. Even when I am a little bit crazy.
