Here in my home
I would say its laziness.
Because we now make our hot cocoa in a mason jar.
Nay, an old spaghetti sauce jar (that I think my mom gave us salsa in).
WHY you may ask.
Because then I can make enough for {TWO} cups at once. .
& I don’t have to bother with the silly [spoon/fork] while mixing.
And there are never any clumps of that delicious hot cocoa powder being wasted.
That’s right. I simply fill it with HOT water. Throw in the mix. Screw on the top and SHAKE.
So there you have it.If you ever come of for hot cocoa & cookies.
This is how it will be made.

NICE!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I think it was rather genius.

You are my kind of lady! Do you know what else I use mason jars for...or any other reused glass jar I have hidding....I save my bacon grease in them! Yup! My mason jar is almost completely full of bacon grease. I put it in the frig when I'm done with it so I can use it whenever I want.
ReplyDeleteI found you through SITS!
Why not? Makes sense to me:)
ReplyDeleteCame by from SITS to say hi.
pure genius!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Marlie and Me!
I love it! Great way to recycle and upcycle a glass jar, and warm your heart, soul, and tummy at the same time! Way to go SITStah! Best, Jenn
ReplyDeleteYou should be an engineer, seriously though.
ReplyDeletePut it in the plan.
I do that too... but its the black instant coffee :P
ReplyDeleteHey - you were above me in the SITS roll call this Saturday. I think the mason jar is brilliant! Shaking is always better than stirring anyway.
ReplyDeleteSo smart!
ReplyDeleteI wish the Mason jars at my house had cocoa in them...instead they are filled with my husband's homemade kefir. Yeah, we're that kind of a family. Thanks for stopping by my blog...sounds like you've had quite a journey so far!
ReplyDeleteActually, I think that is genius-just tell people you're trying to be as green as possible. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea. I should suggest it to my daughter who makes hot cocoa all the time.
