Living with a Boy I

So LIVING with Adam has been surprisingly normal.
I don’t know what I thought living with a boy would be like. I guess I thought it would be like a sleep over/babysitting…not in a mean way. I just never lived with a boy before so I really had NO idea what to expect.

We have adjusted quickly and easily. Maybe it’s because Adam is just so accommodating or because I am such an easy person to live with, either way it has been great so far.

The things that have been weird about living with a boy are just [habit/preference] things. Which I am learning to not make a big deal about.

The first is this one:

Yep….that is the toilet seat up.

YES I have almost broken my tail bone more than ONCE at night when I don’t want to turn the lights on because I learned once that just seeing the BRIGHT light in the middle of the night signals to your body that its morning and wakes up parts of your brain that are hard to get to back to sleep.

And yes, that was probably my [worst/longest/most annoying] run on sentence I have ever posted.

Moving on.

Yeah the toilet seat up. I hate it for so many reasons. In no particular order: 1. It looks soooo nasty that way 2. I sometimes pee in the middle of the night and almost fall in or get hurt. 3. I like to flush with the LID down…let alone the seat down

This is one I am trying to help Adam see the light on.
&help him to improve upon his current habits.
At least for as long as we & our guest share a bathroom.

Maybe in our dream house he will have his own toilet. A toilet where he can leave the seat up for a long as he wants.

until then, we will work on it.

3 Pretties:

  1. It took me over 2 years to train Joe about the seat down, I hope you have better luck with Adam!

  2. I drilled Tadd for months before getting married that not only does the seat go down, but also the lid! Why else would it be there? He's only slipped up maybe 3 times, and each of those times...he's been mad at me. :)
