I have weird RADAR [like finding one person in a GIANT Disney Crowd]

there was this ONCE when I stalked a celebrity through Disneyland. It all started in the Grand California Hotel, when I saw him at breakfast.

It was out of the corner of my eye, and no one else noticed him

I whispered "I love you in Modern Family"

he turned & looked, and I chickened out.

My sister in Law Jessica saw him later, then I was DETERMINED to see him again. So I stalked Jesse Tyler Ferguson all through Disneyland until I found him again!

I was on the look out for that sweater

He was on his way out of the park. I stopped him, Lindsey asked fhim or a picture. OF COURSE all we had was Lindsey's camera phone, it was dark a total nightmare in the making.

Until out of the shadows of Disney Main Street stepped my friend Fayisa, with a real camera to capture this little beauty:

Ohhh I was Star Struck. he was REALLY NICE, and impressed that a couple of U-Tards loved him/the show.

So if you aren't watching modern family here is what you are missing....Cameron and Mitchell are amazingly gay parents of a new little girl.

Here is a run down of the show all together:

  • ITs a great show.
  • It was a great night.
  • and as you can tell, I was PRETTY excited to have it all on film {Or on a chip...is that what we call digital?}.

Happy Celeb hunting! It's almost time for Sundance....always a good hunting ground.

{DEAR} Rommate

SERIOUSLY, stop talking.

I know you think its weird I like watching The City.

DO YOU HAVE to talk more and more and more and more. I rewound it. TAKE THE HINT.

i turned the volume up, TAKE THE HINT.

I want to relish in the drama of a scripted life. It helps me relax. It helps me dream. It makes my life feel more validated.

{B}Witches Night OUT!

So Last year I went to witches night out with some friends & Family.

We went to the whole Dinner Theater and everything. It was during the middle of convection week at work, so I HARDLY go to Enjoy it. (I had to run back to SLC to help with the GooGoo Dolls Concert)

This year Emmie invited a bunch of friends up for Dinner at Cheese Cake Factory then on to Gardner Village. OF COURSE I was out of town the day she planned it, so I stole her idea THANKS EMMIE!

"Will Cast Spells for Chocolate"

We had a Hat making night- I mean WHO Wants a plan black hat?
We didn’t really have time to make the full get ups, so we went all out on that hats. The evening was full of hot glue, beads, feather and Halloween Candy.

On Friday we went up to dinner at the Cheese Cake factory {YUMMY} Then to Gardner Village. It was a lot of fun & something I think should be an annual event. {As long as we all live in Utah}

We Stopped across the street to get all DRESSED up and ready to go!

We were a little late (Thanks food/Nordstrom Rack) but still had fun looking at all the witches, seeing all the crazies dancing and enjoying the shops.

Please note: Bree and I were just trying to take a DECENT picture of us...Kristen went all creepy witch on us.

Then we walked around like crazy and just GOOFED AROUND. Can you tell we had fun?

When else can grown woman dance around like this and no one thinks you are totally off your rocker...ok so now that I look at it Caitlyn goofed around (She is pregnant so she is allowed to be off her rocker)

We did stop for one last group photo. Not too bad for a self timer huh?

It was a good night.

Good Friends.

Good Food.

Good Fun!

Just the best way to spend a weekend
evening!

Rewind::::: St. George Weekend

I Love you St. George Utah. Oh how I love you, I miss living there so much. I miss living near the girlies, I miss the warm weather. I miss the scenery, the relaxed feeling of the town. It is a shame I don’t get down to visit as often as I would like.

I did get a chance to go down in October… I KNOW I am way behind on my posting. So here it is.

My SWEET little niece Gracie was blessed. It was a lot of fun to all be together for that event. She is a real cutie. I brought her a little mini hamster.

Yum’s {Avery} said “I just wanna hold it. I will watch him until Gracie is bigger and she can take care of him”

Dear Gracie,
Looks like this hamster is a lost cause…There will be more presents I promise.

Papa & Gracie ....................Cupcake & Gracie

The girls are always so much fun to play with! I miss them tons and tons. Ashie has turned into such a little person. She is so smart and inquisitive and thoughtful. She still loves me.

Yums is a hellion and i LOVE it. Though she is in an Anti-Me stage...makes me sad. I think she just loves boys. She loves her uncle Tyla {PROOF: look how nice she poses with him}

{PROOF: With me she is angry/crazy.} oh and Gracie that is your hamster that was hijacked by Yums.

That night we went and saw Aida at Tuacahn. It was a lot of fun. I didn’t know what the premise was before I got there , so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. It ended up being a lot of fun.

Brooke, Tyler, Lindsey and I all went. It was supposed to be a family thing- Morgan got SUPER SICK, so that threw a wrench in the plans.
The four of us pressed on… it was a struggle, but you know we managed.

New Tuacahn favorites:
*The weird advertisements for upcoming shows
*The Annie Jump rope someone thought a family brought to play with
*That the drinks are refillable

Then we went to a new yogurt place. I can’t remember what it was called, but I discovered that I LOVE fruity pebbles on my frozen yogurt. YUM, a new obsession.

Sunday was Conference Sunday for our church. So we all watched from the Overland House. Mom made this GIANT breakfast [BFAST Casserole/waffles/BACON/eggs/toast/french toast/fresh fruit/juice/Cinnamon pull apart bread/hot chocolate/yogurt] YUM, it was amazing.

So between sessions I was in charge of entertaining these two. Good thing I have my handy Dandy Cupcake Craft bin. It's full of all sorts of random toys, crafts & projects that they girls only get to play with when iM around. (It is how I maintain my importance with these chicas)

AVERY loves to make funny faces & show off her BEAUTIFUL artwork.

Ashie is a little older and more mature as you can see.

I of course look BEAUTIFUL, it is a standard look for me.

Thats how we roll as a family.

I work with GREAT people

Today at work some showed me this hidden You Tube gem:

FAVORITE PART the flying leap at the end of the show. I supervise Brent and his is probably one of the funniest guys we work with.

iM not sure if he leaked this video to his coworkers or if it mistakenly got out. Either way it made me laugh out loud & SMILE

{They just LOOK like they are having so much fun}

Happy Weekend!

MISSING

There are days when I wish I could just lay in bed all day. Curled up under my warm down blanket in a crisp room. Maybe with a worn book, or a laptop to watch comforting movies [Chocolat/Penelope/Bridget Jones].

Other time I wish I could just stand perfectly still in the middle of the room and watch my life go on around me. An overwhelming sense of dizziness. The rush that comes from never having a moment to yourself.

It’s not that I am so popular, that my life is that entertaining.

It is simply full of tasks.

Lately a typical {8AM Start} day looks like this:

6:17 AM Alarm goes off, hit snooze
6:37 AM second alarm goes off, get out of bed
6:40 AM get ready for work
7:32 AM Wish I had easy breakfast food
7:44 AM leave for work hoping not to get stuck behind a train
8:04 AM walk in to work a few minutes late (am glad I am the AM supervisor)
1:42 PM remember I need to take a break
2:12 PM leave to eat a sandwich
2:40 PM Return to full in box
5:00 PM alarm goes off reminding me to leave for the day
5:48 PM Finally leave for the day
5:49 PM I am followed to car by unassuming guy at work
5:50 PM Chat, chat chat, try to find a way to get in my car
6:11 PM Leave work premises
6:12 PM head to alternate work environment { Quickbooks, VOH planning}
6:40 PM Arrive at alternate work environment
6:42 PM Shove Dinner down my throat
6:58 PM Start working on other projects
11:42 PM-1:08 AM Head home

My day-almost every second of it is full. Of ALL good things {volunteering, learning, BYU Economic Self Reliance Conference, Strategic planning, presentations, being supportive, seeing the girls from Ethiopia, dinner with the fam}

I’m tiered. Stretched too thin. Working towards a light at the end of the tunnel that seems so far away, or at this point blocked off completely.

I don’t know how to realign. I need to set some priorities. Make a plan. Implement a change. Take my life back.

Ohhh how easy it is to say those things. To boldly declare them here. It is the actual practice that gets me every time.
