Pirate Island PIZZ(A)

Pirate Island Pizza recently opened in St. George. It was really a lot of fun. Its decorated all out like the Rain Froest Cafer, but in PIRATES. It was fun to take my nieces and have fun, it went a little something like this:

We ORDERED the Kracken Pizza, It was HUGE (a Mere 26 Inches). We wore pirate hats. We drank soda. We Colored. We playes Wack a Shark. We GOT lots and LOTS of tokens and Tickets and Prizes. It was a lot of fun. The GIRLS loved it, so did mumsie and PaPa and the entire fam.

A Sugar Enduced Twilight C(O)MA

It all Started with a lovely Dinner at McCools in THE DISTRICT. We ate sweet potato fries with Curry dipping sauce YUM. We also took LOVELY pictures like this:

THEN, we went to The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory...where we went a LITTLE crazy with the Chocolates.

Apple Pie Carmel Apple, Chocolate covered CINNAMON bears, Chocolate Pretzels and one of THESE BEAUTIES:

It was hard to eat, but Ashley thought she was up to it.

SUCCESSFUL!

Then we walked over to the movie theater, fought with the manager over Kristen and Nicole's missing tickets, and walked in JUST in time for *TWILIGHT*. We went to a 21 + show...no there were no extra naked scenes. Just no giggles from teenagers or crying babies. It was so much fun. We laughed when it was supposed to be serious and talked when we were supposed to be quiet and had a great time. Over all a success!

SmASHLEY is getting married! So for her bridal shower we decided to have a girls night at Magleby's. It was a lot of fun, and my first time eating there. The rolls were AMAZING! I am sure between the group we consumed several hundred thousand calories. It was worth it. And Ashley got some great stuff!

I've been online shopping like CRAZY. I have a secret goal to be done with Christmas shopping before Thanksgiving. I am getting there, along the way I found these comical gifts for him:

Extreme Office Crafts: Looks like a fun way to waste time at work! I mean who DOESN'T want a bubble wrap space suite? I am not going to lie, I sort of want this for work!

Gentleman's Travel Show Bag: Perfect for the guy who travels a lot. It is an attractive way to protect clothes and suites from getting soiled while packed.

Dress for Dinner Napkins: I thought these were so cute and functional. For the guy who always spills! A classy little way to keep a shirt or suite clean. These would also make a great hostess gift don't you think?

2009 Duct Tape Calendar: 365 Days of interesting ways to use duct tape. My brother made a duct tape wallet while on his mission. He sent it to Grant, and he used it for YEARS.

It was turkey Thursday at work. How nice is my job that they give every employee a Thanksgiving turkey?

Caitlyn didn't want hers so I took it. Which was a good idea when I was lifting them and lunging around the office. NOT such a good idea when I had to drag 24 pounds of turkey up 3 flights of stairs in heels, with a purse and a full bladder.

Now I have a full freezer and NO idea what to do with a bunch of Turkey's, I have a secret goal to get as many free ones as I can!! (don't tell anyone)

Maybe while I was shopping for a friend I bought myself a new Passport holder. It looks a little something like this:

Seeing my passport again reminded me that I haven't been anywhere foreign in a little over a year. It made me sad, and made me think my passport was lonely. SEE it looks sad and lonely...

So now I am looking for cheap tickets, planning trips I will never go on and WISHING I had a travel buddy.

Though our family has moved, we will always be California girls at heart. I am LOVING brookadelphia designs. You Choose your home state, where you live now or just the state you wished you lived in. The star is place on the city you desire. What a cool way to keep home close to your heart.

I'm thinking this could be a thoughtful gift. Especially for friends or family that are moving far far away.

Thing I am LOVING right........NOW

1. My morning work outs with my dad! It is GREAT to have a reason to get up and head to the gym. Its nice to be done with the gym by the time I get to work. It is also nice to get to watch the news and talk to my dad.

2. JAMBA Juice Strawberry Nirvana- I love your fruity goodness. And I love that you are only 150 calories and full of fiber. YUM, you are the perfect bfast treat. Especially after the gym. (sometime I add extra strawberries)

3. Great Harvest High 5 Fiber- I got an end slice and it was AMAZING. Also full of fiber, YUM and hearty bread. Might be my new favorite, we will see.


4. Pebble Ice at the Caf- I love you. You make me drink water all day long. You are fun to chew on.

5. I ♥ Swedish Fish

I ♥ they are mini bags (1 serving size) and ALL RED

I ♥ that they are just enough of a treat without the sick on sugar feeling

Look at THIS super cute apple or pumpkin book. They are so cute, and look really easy.

Maybe I have a pile of vintage postcards and post cards from place I have been. I have always thought about decopage them onto a end table or something. Then I found a link to the Post Card Hanger. Looks like a fun and easy weekend project.

I LOVE Owls, just ask Lindsey...I do. I love them. This is a really cute and differnt advent calendar. It is a Solstice Calendar. Even though this isn't a tutorial, in my head I could figure it out! We will see won't we?

If you are a crafter (or one in the making) and you dont look at Amy Butler's free patterns, you need to start. They are great since its a PDF with pattern cut outs and instructions. They are a great way to get started. I want to make this snow Mum Pillow.
